Hours:
- 38hrs per week
Working Days:
- Monday 8:30am till 2:30pm
- Wednesday till Saturday – 8:30 am- 4:30 pm

Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and service-oriented Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic team here at Vegan Antics in the heart of Gravesend.
As a Front of House Team Member, you will play a vital role in creating an outstanding experience for our guests by providing top-notch customer service, preparing and serving barista, diner and bar drinks, running food & drink orders, upkeeping a clear and clean front of house and communicating effectively with the kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting Customers: Warmly welcome all guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and addressing any inquiries or requests.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, anticipating customer needs and delivering an exceptional dining experience.
- Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of barista-made coffee beverages, specialty drinks, and bar drinks, maintaining consistency and quality.
- Order Running: Assist in running food orders from the kitchen to the tables, ensuring accuracy and timely service.
- Kitchen Communication: Maintain clear and efficient communication with the kitchen team regarding food orders, modifications, and any special requests to ensure smooth service.
- Menu Knowledge: Stay informed about menu items, specials, and promotions in order to answer customer questions and offer recommendations.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure the front-of-house area, including the bar and beverage stations, remains clean, tidy, and well-stocked throughout your shift.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with the rest of the team, providing support where needed to ensure the efficient operation of the restaurant.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a restaurant, bar, or café setting.
- Level 2 Hygiene preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to prepare barista drinks (training provided if necessary).
- Basic bartending skills (training available).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A team player with the ability to adapt to various roles as needed.
- Must be reliable and flexible
- Takes pride in their appearance
- Ability to stay focused and cope well under pressure during busy periods
- Speaks fluent English
- UK Resident with the relevant work permits
